"Hurricane Katrina: America's Costliest Storm" is a detailed study of a powerful and destructive hurricane. In a record setting season that produced 26 tropical cyclones of which 14 were hurricanes, Katrina surpassed Hurricane Camille as the most devastating Gulf hurricane of all time. Through the use of radar and satellite imagery, the explosive growth of Katrina is revealed as well as the factors responsible for the nation’s worst storm surge. An archive of video, still photographs and special features document the magnitude of damage across Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.
